Over Limit!!!

“System Administrator:
Your mailbox is over its size limit!

Are you tired of receiving these warnings? Better yet, are you frustrated with having to delete important emails that you were hoping to save for your records?  Well, you can finally put these worries and frustrations aside, because there is a way in which you can store these extra electronic messages as a PST file on your computer.  It’s the “Personal Folders” option to the rescue!

To make use of this feature, you will have to create an Outlook Data File. This can be done by selecting Tools on the menu bar, next click on Account SettingsThe account settings dialogue box will open; select the Data Files tab, Add and the Office Outlook Personal Folders File option respectively. Once that has been done, click Ok, then chose where you want to save your messages, name the PST file and hit Ok . These actions will prompt the Microsoft Personal Folders to open. There you will see the name of the file, where you saved it and also have the opportunity to password-protect it.  After reviewing the information, complete the process by clicking Ok. You will now see the Personal Folder added on the left in your Folder List; right-click on the folder to add a folder to house the extra emails.
